Gorilla Glue History – What is Gorilla Glue?
Gorilla Glue History is pretty straight forward and is somewhat a mistake. Commonly called GG #4 Gorilla Glue was found in a bag of seeds from a hermied plant. We have Joesy Whales and Mardogg to thank for this wonderful strain that is slowly becoming one of the most popular strains of Marijuana.
Joesy was growing some Chem Sister and Sour Dubb plants. When his Chem Sister went hermaphrodite and pollinated the Sour Dubb he was really pissed and decided he had enough of growing Weed with seeds in it. Joesy decided to toss all the plants and cut his losses. He didn’t fancy smoking Weed with Seeds in at and who can blame him? Little did he know his good friend Mardogg, who helped him pull down his beloved garden, kept some Seeds….
Gorilla Glue History starts with Joesy and ends with Mardogg growing out a lot of the Seeds years later. He found a lot of hermies and not surprisingly unstable genetics. However they did find 6 stable female phenos, that grew perfectly. Pheno number 4 was undoubtedly the best and turned out to be a beautiful strain with an abundance of crystals and an amazing aroma. Gorilla Glue #4 was born.
Over the past few years Gorilla Glue has gained popularity and is now a very sought after strain. Somewhere along the line Chocolate Diesel has also been crossed into Gorilla Glue. The full genetics are Chem Sis x Sour Dubb x Chocolate Diesel.
Gorilla Glue History – Multiple award winning Strain
Gorilla Glue has won some awards as-well including, first place in both the Michigan and Los Angeles 2014 Cannabis Cups as well as the High Times Jamaican World Cup. As 2017 approaches this strain which was shrouded in mystery is becoming more available Worldwide and it clear to see why. A brilliant Cannabis strain with its genetics descending from Colorado America. An unbelievable master piece with American Genetics.
Gorilla Glue History sets this strain up for great things but how does it actually smoke? Well we cant find one bad review, everyone seems to love it and its popularity is soaring. It is a very sticky resinous strain that takes its name from the Chem Sis genetics. With a very Glue like chemical smell that is unmistakable and also it Glues your scissors up when trying to manicure it. Double whammy on the name.
Gorilla Glue #4 is a hybrid that has approximately 50% Indica and 50% Sativa genetics. It grows very much like a Christmas Tree with long side branching covered in buds. The plant takes an average of 10 weeks to flower however certain phenos may take up to 12 weeks to be totally finished. Well worth the wait though. An excellent hybrid that is very unique and very distinct.
Gorilla Glue History leaves no doubt as to its tastes and aromas. If you are smoking the real GG #4 you will know about it. The aroma is like diesel mixed with chemicals and a bit added coffee. Yes u heard right the Chocolate doesn’t really shine through much instead you get a subtle burnt coffee afterkick mingled in with the diesel and Chemicals. Some phenos are more chemically than others.
